A couple weeks ago, we headed up to the reservoir above our neighborhood so that Travis could try a little open water swim in prep for his triathalon. Spring/summer was still having a hard time deciding to stick around and it wasn't very warm yet...like maybe 60...and the water was just above freezing! I thought Beck probably wouldn't even want to put his feet in, but I took his shoes off and rolled up his pants just in case.
Well, he enjoyed walking in the sand for a few minutes, but then realized throwing sand into the water would be much more fun. No, he couldn't just throw it in from the beach. He had to sit down in the water (diaper, pants and all) in the ice cold water. Do you think he cared? Absolutely not. He sat there for a good half an hour and threw quite the fit when it was time to leave. This is just one of the many things that remind me boys are wired totally different than girls!

I'm impressed that you were able to let go and let him sit in the water with his pants on. That's a good momma.
