day at the park

Beck and I joined my friend Annika and her kids at the park last week. We laid out a blanket, ate lunch, and let the kids run wild while Annie and I chatted away. I don't get to do these typical mom excursions very often (because of work), so I thoroughly enjoyed our little afternoon in the sunshine. So much in fact, that I think we're making it a weekly tradition :)

Annie's son Banks is almost a year older than Beck and was so good in helping to teach Beck the concept of sharing and taking turns. We're still working on that one...

As is evident in this picture. As soon as Banks turns his attention to me and my camera (like a good boy), Beck swoops in and steals the tractor! Just look at that sneaky little boy!
