I don't want to do it. I really don't. But the time has come to make our blog private.
I know its a pain to have to log in everytime, but hopefully those who really love us will still make the effort.
I know that it won't come up on google reader anymore, so people will forget to check it.
I know it puts a damper on blog stalking, and we know we all enjoy a little blog surfing now and again.
I know that it makes it difficult to get in touch with old friends.
But having our blog public makes it very easy for crazies to get a little too close to our lives. And that has always made me uneasy. Even more so now that we're adding a baby into the mix.
I also find myself holding back on things I post because I dont' know who exactly is reading my blog.
So, I've got to take the plunge into privacy.
You know the drill: please leave your email address if you want to continue to view our blog. I'm not going to be exclusive...as long as you're not crazy, I'll add you.. even if we aren't best friends. I don't want to leave anyone out, so please speak up if you want to be added!

I sooo agree with you-I made ours private a while back after hearing horror stories from people about crazies and after I noticed people in weird places were constantly looking. You have my email, so I won't even waste my time giving it to you again. And I will always check your blog (duh!) so don't you fret!!
