Hiking and the Rodeo

We went on another fabulous hike last weekend...this time up American Fork Canyon to Silver Lake. I'll have to admit I was a little nervous to take my ever growing pregnant body on this hike that was almost 5 miles...but I was pleasantly surprised and it wasn't bad at all. Granted I waddled around the rest of the night...but still. Kim and Clay joined us this time and as incredibly gorgeous as the hike was, I have to say the highlight had to be Kim giving me a tutorial on how to use the wilderness as a restroom! Yes, this was my first time peeing outside...there was no way around it. Mother nature and I grew a little bit closer that day.

Kim and I at the top...Silver Lake. And yes, that is snow in the background!

Kimmy, Clay (and the baby...although its not making its presence known yet...she's still tiny!)

This was towards the beginning of the hike...it was gorgeous!

Herriman City Rodeo!!
A couple weeks ago we went with the Browns to the Herriman Rodeo. We tried to convince Carter to do the Mutton Busting...but he wasn't a big fan. Here's some pics from that...

That is so beautiful. I really do miss the mountains, even though I go to a park here in Virginia and it looks like the mountains because there are so many tall trees. I love your cute belly too. Good Job on hiking that, I know I would have been so exhausted!

You look great for being that far along...he must be loving all of the space in that long torso of yours :) Any names picked out yet? How's life at RPT? I guess Brighton would be out now...I'm sure Travis feels good about that. And I bet you are loving it too. My husband was always happy when I didn't have games to cover. Good job hiking! Keep being active (as if you would do otherwise), it will help recovery along after delivery. I'm so excited for you all! Tell everyone and RPT that we say hi! I need to stop by sometime and see you...what days are you at Sandy?
