What a fabulous weekend we had. I think General Conference should coincide with Easter every year. To me, it was the perfect way to put the focus where it should be: our Savior.
While all the other easter festivities (egg hunts, easter baskets, time spent with family, new easter clothes) were completely enjoyable, my favorite part of the weekend was being able to hear the beautiful messages and testimonies of our prophet and general authorities. I had been looking forward to it all week and it was just what I needed.
The thing that hit me the most was the importance of drawing closer to my Heavenly Father and Savior: to gain strength for future trials and to gain the faith and knowledge needed to teach my children.
I was truly inspired by many of the talks and can't wait for the Ensign so that I can dive into them again.

I completely agree, I felt like conference was just especially for me and loved all the talk and advice about parenting! There are no words for Beck in that hat, and you look gorgeous!
