This wonderful man had a birthday yesterday. There were all sorts of celebrations involved including breakfast (with real bacon- a rarity in this household), surprises on the seat of his truck from Beck, dinner at Smashburger (holy delicious- and yes, this is coming from me, the girl who doesn't even like hamburgers!), and sharing cake and ice cream with friends. He deserved every minute of it (and more)!
I love watching this! It's a special bond these two have. Beck adores his dad and it's no wonder why.
I couldn't have asked for a better husband. He knows me better than anyone and is always looking out for my well-being. I am so happy that I get to spend my life with someone so perfect for me! So today was definitely cause for celebrating his birth!
Why the random picture of bread you ask? Because out of all of his presents, this is what Travis was most excited about. Pure, un-adulterated, homemade white bread. My mom also got him cap'n'crunch and potato chips. Just some of the things that this poor man is deprived of :)

I laugh that Travis got some white bread, capn crunch and potato chips because Clay loves those 3 things and he is also usually deprived of them. except last night he snuck a box of Capn Crunch with berries in the cart because they were on sale. and a bag of cheeese puffs because they were "organic." ha!
