Last week when I passed the halfway point in this pregnancy, I couldn't believe that I was already halfway! It went by so fast. I was thrilled to already have half behind me, but at the same time started to get a little nervous thinking that the last half was going to go as fast as the first. There is so much to do, mentally and physically, before our little guy arrives, I was grateful to have 20 weeks still left.
However, yesterday I went to visit my friend Tonii's brand new baby boy and everything changed. I've held a million newborns before, but this one felt so different knowing that I have the same life, just on a smaller scale, inside of me. I looked at his adorable, perfect little face and realized that in 20 weeks I was going to have one of my own. One that I am going to love more than I can imagine. And suddenly, those 20 weeks seemed SO far away.

isn't it funny how time is so relative? I wish my pregnancy had flown by like yours is seeming to! However, if these next 19 or so weeks fly by for you, that means Dax will be one before I know it! I don't know if I'm ready for a one-year-old!
Yay for you! The first one definitely went by the slowest...for me, it's flying by! It's so great to finally hold your baby. Even though you think you know what it's going to be like, you have no clue. I thought it would be like holding my nieces and nephews, but it's 100% better. There's nothing like instant love!
P.S. My mom isn't picking up her phone. I'll keep trying.
you are going to be amazing! It is funny how it just comes naturally.
You are going to love being a mom! It really is the best. Congrats on a boy too, bring on the sweater vests and ties (I love little boys dressed up for church, so cute)!
Ok...SOOO... how sad that I didn't even know you were pregnant! CONGRATS!! That is SO awesome and you will be such a great Mommy! I am so happy for you both. Gosh maybe next time I see you..you will have your little guy. That really is sad. We need to see more of you. Hopefully someone is planning a little shower. If not--I WILL!! Hang in there these last 20 weeks. They will go by fast and before you know it, you will have a 7 year old!! I will be thinking of you. Love ya, Cousin Em (shane, avery, siena and brons).
Congratulations! I am so excited for you! We love having boys. They are so much fun. When is your due date? We are having #3 in September. It's a girl. I won't know what to do with her but we're excited. Keep us posted!
That's great that it is going by fast for you, my first pregnancy seemed to go so slow but this one is flying by! I remember being so nervous when I would hold babies while I was preg, it just seemed so weird that I'd have one of my own so soon! So I know the feeling! So many different emotions. It's so true though that you will love that baby more than anything in the whole wide world and you'll never be the same! Sounds so cheesy I know but it's so true!
SO you and Travis have agreed on the name? Yay!
PS -
You probably already know this but your bouncing baby says "Beck Charlie's baby."
