Here you go...

For all of you who don't think I look pregnant...

Here's proof.

Here I am at 20 weeks. Halfway baby!! My whole torso has widened, which is probably why some people say that I haven't been showing...but trust me, he's definitely in there! I should have put up a before profile picture so that you could see the difference in my width...my little guy is spreading out, enjoying my long torso :)

I had to unbutton my pants for the first time. I think its time for me to go get a "bella band"...from what I hear, its a must have. Any other recommedations for maternity clothes?? As I've looked around, I've seen so many options....below the belly, half band, full panel...etc, etc. What are all of your preferences? Any favorite stores?

Yeah, you still look like I would after eating dinner. Nice try though, you're looking super-cute.

I can't wait to see more pictures, the next couple of weeks were when I really started to notice big changes!

Proof, my butt.

Anyway, DON'T buy the bands that they have at Motherhood Maternity. They fall apart so fast! Get the real Bella Bands. Also, I hated anything that went above my belly, it made me puke, so I opted for below the belly stuffs. Try on a few things, and get what's comfy for you. It's definitely a preference thing. Honestly, I wore regular pants the whole time with one of those bands, and just had to buy them a bit big for my pregnant thighs.

Wait...wha???? I was all "I thought she didn't put the 'before' picture in....Oh. Oh that's the AFTER."

I mean seriously. You are the cutest thing. I know you FEEL pregnant, but you sure don't look it! :)

I was also thinking that at 20 weeks, you look exactly how I do everyday. Man, you are a lucky woman. But I do know how skinny you are, so I can tell there is something a little different on you and that is so exciting!! PS. The security word I have to type to post a comment is "brest". Where do they come up with these?

Yeah! Boys are so much fun. We're way excited for you and looove the name Battle Cat :).

I agree about the Motherhood bands- they're horrible. I love the real bella bands, but I just ordered a 'fake' off etsy from cutiefruity for only $10. I hope it's a good one because the real ones are waaaay too expensive. I'll let you know.

I was always bugged by anything extra on my belly, so I liked stuff that didn't have a panel at all, or just had the small band under the belly.

Old Navy has cute stuff sometimes, but it runs really big, so don't overestimate how big you're going to get- I never even wore some of the things I bought my first time around.

I always found the best stuff at nonmaternity stores. Shirts are easy because the style right now is billowy and give plenty of room.

Low-rise pants really work right up until the end. I just bought a size or two bigger of pants as I got bigger. And with a bella band you don't get the 'crack' problem from low-rise jeans.

You look darling!!! My security word was 'The Ug Fu'??!!

You are so cute, my friend. I get what you're saying about your torso, but you honestly don't look like you're pregnant! Enjoy it, the second pops out much earlier!

The best advice I can give you is to invest in some cute jeans. That way, you feel like you're still in style, but you just happen to have a bump. My favorite ones were some Rock & Republic ones I got at Expected Maternity (by Asian Star and that Century Theater in Sandy). Yes, you will have to look at them as an investment, BUT I seriously wore them 5 days out of the week - and you'll use them for future pregnancies too!

So when are we going out with Kim again?

Oh, duh. I forgot to mention they were capris. I got one pair of jeans, and the rest capris so the heat wouldn't kill me. Honestly, lets share things! We'll swap week by week!

Oh, and I always thought that I could wear my regular shirts and they would shrink back. I know, I'm an idiot. They don't. I ruined like 8 shirts thinking like that. So, if you want to wear one of your normal shirts, just know that you have doomed it to be a maternity shirt!
