Ugh.
Does this question make anyone else cringe?
I don't know why, but I hate, no loathe coming up with ideas for dinner. It's not that I don't enjoy cooking, I do. But its the proccess of coming up with the meals then the corresponding grocery lists that I'm not a fan of.
Plus, I feel like I always make the same things over and over. And over. Sometimes I'm ok with that. When you have something good, keep it around right? However, it makes dinnertime (and preparation) a bit boring.
My friend Kim and I were discussing this very thing and decided to exchange our favorite recipes in hopes of spicing (ha) up our menus. So, I decided to take it a step further and open up our little exchange to all of you. Fun huh?! :)
Here's the deal: we are typing up our 5 most favorite dinners/lunches to exchange. We're talking about the best of the best here. Yes, everyone has different tastes and opinions, but if we all give the top 5, we know we are getting tried and true, good, wholesome recipes.
Want in? Send me an email at karleeburton {at} hotmail {dot} com and you'll be invited to our exchange party!
Oh and one more thing...
Head on over here to find a cute and functional aide for menu planning woes. Mines in the mail and I can't wait to get it!

I am completely on the same wavelength currently. I finally bucked up and found a bunch of recipes I want to try (thanks, Pioneer Woman!), bought the ingredients last week, and tried my first one today! Hopefully, i can keep up the desire to make new things. Hopefully, one day, I'll be able to build up enough food storage to have most things on hand. That's my biggest complaint. I hate the having to plan ahead so far for it. I'm much more of a spontaneous eater!
YEEEESSSSS! I have come to dread the M-E-N-U. I too, like cooking and the end result but I get in ruts! I am always looking for something new. I am so in!! I'll be sending you an e-mail.
