half way to a year

No, not six months. All I can focus on, is that my little baby is half way to a year. No. Way. Six months ago, our lives were literally changed in an instant. For the better of course. We couldn't imagine our lives without our little Beckaroni.

Right now I'm loving the little things that he does. Holding ever so tightly to one of your fingers as you feed him. His little "mmmmm" sound/hum he makes after each bite of food. When all you have to do is look at him and he flashes that adorable, gummy grin. Talking to himself as he falls to sleep. The kicking and flailing when you go to get him in the morning because he is so excited to see you. Holding onto your face.

{he's wondering why I stopped feeding him to take a picture}
This kid loves solids. He is definitely not a picky eater and will eat anything we give to him: squash, bananas, sweet potatoes, carrots, pears, blueberries, cauliflower. I've been making his baby food and I love it! So easy (do you really think I would even consider it if it wasn't??) and so much cheaper. Not to mention the nutrional quality.

He still doesn't really roll over. He's gone from his tummy to his back a few times, but has no interest on going the opposite direction. We're working on sitting up and he's starting to get the hang of that.

I am in love with his smile. Pretty much anytime I look at him I can't get over how cute he is! I squish and kiss this boy all day long!

At six months he weighs 18.5 lbs (61%) and is 28.5 in (95%).
It is safe to say that he is the joy of our lives!

Karlee, Beck is so adorable, I love his big eyes, he is getting so big. Just wait, he will be mastering rolling over and sitting up before you know it, it is amazing how fast they learn new things!

I just wanted to tell you that the pictures you are taking are amazing and I really want to hear your tips and tricks for taking such great shots. We got a nice SLR after Tessa was born but I don't think I have mastered it yet. Blog post please for all us non-camera savvy parents out here!

your photography skills and photoshopping skills are getting so good! I bet your loving your new toy. I have to tell you I took a supper fun, cheap, photoshop class at the jordan tech center and it was like $100-$130 (I can't fully remember the price it was a year or so ago) they teach you everything I recommend it if you want to learn more. Your photos are so precious of your little guy!
