This is one of my first projects with my new sewing machine. I LOVE how it turned out. So much in fact, that I may just have to keep it instead of giving it as a gift like I had originally planned. I'll hopefully have a girl eventually right?! I am really enjoying my new found hobby...however, I definitely have to work at it... sewing is not something that comes natural for me! Good thing this blanket was pretty much idiot proof- you cut and fray all the edges so no one can tell if it isn't sewn straight :) If anyone have any sewing/quilting sites you like for ideas/tips, send them my way!

I, also, have recently embarked on the sewing machine. You, however, seem to be doing much better than me. My mom still has to hold my hand and undo all of my stitching. That is a cute blanket! I'd say... keep it! It could be a good luck charm!!!
Karlee, that is adorable. Amazing work! That is definitely something to be proud of. I love the fabric you picked out. I would want to keep it too, all that time and love that went in to it!

How fun! I know you say that your blanket was idiot proof, however I am sure I would still manage to screw it up:) By the way I feel the same way about the eater egg candy! I ate a whole bag in 3 days!!!
