Finally....
It only took me about 8 months, but I finally painted my kitchen! I have been wanting to do it for awhile now, and I even got the paint (yes, this was 8 months ago) but I just haven't found the time to sit down and do it. I decided this was pathetic and I just needed to set a time and get it done, so on Wednesday I left work early and my mom came and helped me! It turned out SO good and I love it! It's amazing what a little (ok in this case, a lot) color can do for a room! The only problem is now I totally have a bug in me to do all the other little projects I have in my head to finish decorating my house....one thing at a time right?! I was so glad to have my mom there willing and able to help! She's awesome and is very particular/anal about painting so we worked perfect together!
So here it is...I haven't put up anything back up on the walls yet...I'm still waiting for the paint to dry all the way. And I had to get rid of my table runner...it was a little bit different red and clashed. So I need to find another. I'm thinking of finding some fabric and doing a valance for the windows and a table runner, we'll see.

That is a great shade of red. The valance and table runner will just finish off the room perfectly! Your house is so cute, wish I hadn't ditched out on dinner so I could have seen it! Oh and lets plan a girls trip to Washington in Aug!
I love it, looks great. Good Job!
Um, YES you need to plan that girls trip to WA with Amber
Karlee, that looks amazing! Red is my favorite color, so fun to paint!!
YEAH!!! It looks great! It really adds a lot to the kitchen. And I'm glad you carried it all the way around. I'm excited to see it in person. How many coats did it take you? Jace's room took me 3!!! Red is hard to paint.
Hey kids, it's us. Yeah, we finally gave into this blogging madness. Anyhow, hope to see you around at the field.
Ooo I love it! I love red painted walls I think it's so cute. Looks great!!
Karlee, nice work on the kitchen. It looks so good! That would be very cute to make matching table runners and window valence. Sorry it's taken me so long to get you the info on that place. Our internet has been so horrible lately. Here is the website for the place we stayed. We stayed at the one in Jackson Hole, WY. We went off season and it was a lot cheaper then. It may be pretty pricey now, but it was an amazing place! http://skiinskioutrentals.com/ Let me know if you have any questions about it.
Karlee - I love it! Color does change everything. I can't wait to see it finished with everything up on the walls. I love your taste!
Looks so cute! Someday I'll be able to paint my house the colors I want...until then, I'll just dream about the colors.
