We got a puppy! Cooper joined our family yesterday! Travis has wanted a dog forever and I finally gave in and got Cooper for his birthday! He really is adorable. He loves to cuddle and have his tummy scratched. Travis is thrilled and like a little boy with his excitement! It's really cute and I love being able to make him so happy, it makes me happy! It's so funny how much Cooper is like a little child, as I'm sure any of you dog owners are aware of. Travis' mom told her work that this was the closest thing to a grandchild that she was going to get from us in awhile, but my dad on the other hand made it quite clear that just because we got a dog doesn't mean that we can put off having kids longer!

Derek thought it would be fun to put Cooper on Rem's (my families dog) back. Cooper was terrified and Rem was just like whatever.

Oh my goodness, Cooper is so cute!! I want to meet him! And yes you are oh so right, we really need to see each other. I'm sorry I have been so horrible about keeping in touch. I need to see you in person while I can. In a little less than 3 months we are moving to Virginia, so I need to see you soon!
Okay so you have a super cute puppy, but you'd make super cute kids too! I know I don't have to convince you, it's my hesitant brother I have to comvince. He's kinda a chicken :)! But I do think for your birthday, you should get exactly what you want ;)!
you should tell travis that he isn't a spring chicken anymore, tell him i said it, and to get to work!! just kidding i hate it when people ask and give their advice about when they think you should have one...it happened way to much too me..off my soap box...cupcakes...i have this ball pan so they come out flat on the bottom and round on top. but you could just overfill the cupcake pan or cupcake papers and get a similar effect. i frosted them like normal then put the fondant over them so they would be smooth. michaels has a bigger pan that just makes one big ball, you could do a baseball that way? anyway, talk to you soon!
I've got to admit! He's almost as cute as Rocky! Just kidding! He's adorable. I guess your mom has joined my club. I have a granddogter. I've been waiting (patiently I might add) for 4 years now for a real grandchild. Oh well, I just want them to be ready to be excited and great parents! Remember, once you start having kids you won't be alone again like this for another 20-30 years. Enjoy this time together. Rob & I have no idea what its like. We will in a few more years though!!
