I was getting sick of the decor montage I had on the wall over my kitchen cart. So I spray painted a few old frames, added some cork board and stickers and voila. I love it!
I've got myself Mr. Domestic over here. He already cooks and cleans, and now he sews! He made his little girl the cutest baby blanket.
I've been wanting to try my hand at homemade bagel making for awhile now and finally did. They turned out so dangerously delicious! I have made them twice now, and liked this recipe the best.
Everytime we go to the gym, Beck asks to go swimming, so we finally took him. The water itself was a tad chilly and he kept on saying "I too cold mommy!"
This little guy loves to play on daddy's ipad. I'm amazed at how well he can navigate that thing.
And last, but certainly not least, we bit the bullet and transferred Beck to his big boy bed! We've had the bed for a few weeks and have been talking it up, but didn't get a mattress until the other day. I wasn't quite ready to make the transition (I may have been having a little anxiety over giving up that control and admitting that my baby was old enough to sleep in a real bed), but that night as we were going through the bedtime routine, he asked repeatedly to sleep in his "new bed." I knew I couldn't discourage it, so I laid him down, covered him up, took a deep breath and shut the door. I couldn't believe it when I didn't hear a peep from him until the next morning! Honestly, I'm shocked at how well he's done--bedtime has produced no issues at all and while naps have been a little more difficult, its nothing that a little bribery hasn't fixed and at least he's still taking them!
This was yesterday during naptime. He always puts his blanket on the side of his head when he sleeps, but this time it was covering his whole face! Oh and don't mind his purple pillow....I will be getting a new pillowcase for him :)
He loves his new bed and everymorning when I go to get him out, he always exclaims "I sleep in my bed all night mommy!"Whew. It feels good to be able to cross that major item off my list!

Yeah Beck!!!
Love the cute menu! I think it's so awesome that your husband can sew, mine can too :) I definitely have to make those bagels, they look amazing! I'm so glad the transition has been easy with Beck to a big bed, I'm making the plunge with Gage this week. I'm scared...
I love the blue decor!! SO cute. It makes me want to actually do something with our kitchen. And I'm so happy Beck transitioned so easy for you. I knew he would... he's a super sleeper. I don't think I've met another kids who wants to go to bed like he does. p.s. I can't wait to meet Lola! You're almost there!!!! :)
I'm glad you liked that bagel recipe. And I thought Lender's bagels from the grocery store were good! pff.
