san diego {part 1}

Our trip began with a nice, long drive in a 12-passenger van (yep, that's how we rolled!). Beck has never been in a car longer than 45 minutes, so I was a tad nervous to see how he would do. We loaded up on snacks and movies, and although there were definitely some freak-out moments, he could have have done much worse.

We arrived late Saturday night, so our first real day was Sunday. We were all itching to go to the beach, so we decided to all take a nice, little stroll along the beach. You can guess how long it took for everyone to jump in the ocean, fully clothed and all....all of about 2 minutes! It sure made for some fun pictures though....

After dinner and some baths, we headed over to a park to play some baseball.

{I still can't believe this moment even happened....it was definitely one to be documented! These two have issues and love to fight with each other, so the fact that they were sitting so close and not crying was miraculous!}
