Well, last night we {impulsively} got rid of his last remnant of babyhood- his binki. We told him binkis were "yucky" and for babies, then we asked him if he wanted to throw it away because he was a big boy now. He thought for 2 seconds and then took it out of his mouth and chucked it in the garbage can. I never thought he would do it and kind of panicked knowing there was no turning back. I don't know why I was so afraid to do it (probably because I didn't want to admit that he was too old for a binki), he has handled it like a champ. Last night he cried for about 15 minutes, he asked for it this morning before I put him down but didn't dispute after I reminded him what he did with it, but he did fuss again for a few minutes. And that was it, he went down without a peep for his afternoon nap and again tonight for bed. Done and done.
I feel like he just grew up overnight with the removal of that binki! Daddy was so proud of him and as a reward for being such a big boy, he got him a new Chugginton train. It seems to be a good binki replacement- the kid hasn't put the train down all day (not even to sleep)!

He is just too adorable. He still does have that baby chub around his wrists though. That's something you can hold on to;)
Cute! Oh man, I've GOT to get on that with Gage. It's way past time. I'm secretly terrified ;) Kyler never had one so this is new territory!
Yay! I just knew he would do good with it. He's one smart little guy!
I love how much he adores trains. I only wish Jaiden would play better with him... one day ;)
Yeah Beck and Mommy! That is as good of a Mother's day gift as it gets!
Oh my....I love that he calls himself baby Beck...That's the only thing Chance and Logan call him. He is adorable...he's quite the little stud in his hat.
