Mission Accomplished
My idea of a "good" Saturday is one where I get things done. I thrive on that feeling of accomplishment, and in my mind, Saturday is a day to work on my "To Do" list. If I had my way, I would wake up early every Saturday and go crazy all day. Luckily, my husband has a different view on how a Saturday should be spent and has helped me to relax a little. Last Saturday was full of accomplishment, and I loved it! We (yes we, this was one of those times where I forced my will upon my husband) cleaned out the baby's room, both of our closets, and the storage closet underneath our stairs. We dejunked, organized, and moved boxes and boxes of stuff up to our new shelves in our garage. By the time we were done, we had 8 garbage sacks, a couple bins, a box, and a TV to take to DI! I should have taken a before and after picture...I couldn't believe how much CRAP we had! It felt so good to get rid of it and as we drove away I felt so liberated! What a great feeling. Now I can get started on our little guy's room. Thanks Trav for all your help, even if it did waste your Saturday :) You are great and I'm so lucky to have a husband who will help me do the not so fun things like this!

Way to go!! You want to come over on Saturday and do all that to my house :) Now the baby room decorating can begin!!
Ooo that's the best feeling! I love to de-clutter and organize. I never feel like I got to get Ava's room beautiful and cute before she came. I got it cleaned and stuff, but we were moving a month later, so I didn't get to paint it or baby it out. Have fun with it!
That was such a kind and considerate way to say that your husband is usually lazy on a saturday. That's for breaking it to me slowly baby.
I am a freak about clutter and junk! I get chills just hearing about a good organization party! Congrats to you and Travis.
Don't worry Travis, I'd say the same about my husband... lovingly, of course. :)
