Silver lake round 2

We were so fond of Silver Lake, that we decided to go up again. This time we ditched baby sister and had a date with our little man. The colors were even better and the weather was perfect. We decided to walk around the whole lake, but ended up taking turns carrying a too tired little man. We loved having some one on one time with him.

And another is added to the married club

My little (or younger as he would say) brother Mike married sweet Joanna back in September. They are the cutest couple and are so incredibly happy. Wedding day festivities went off without a hitch. They were sealed in the Mt. Timp temple (a favorite of mine) and their ceremony was beautiful- a great reminder of the blessings the temple brings to a marriage. The dinner and reception were held at an old remolded church in American Fork. We had a few minutes after the temple, so we made a pit stop at Sub Zero for some ice cream. It was perfect and held us over until the delicious dinner. The reception proved to be a little difficult with 2 little ones who wanted to be in bed soon after it started. Such is the life with children. All in all, a wonderful afternoon and we are so excited for Mike and Joanna!

My cute littlest brothers sporting a baby and a diaper bag. Loved this site.

Henry had had it with all the pictures.

What a handsome group of guys!

My new favorite picture.

Oh wait, and this one of Daddy dancing with his daughter.

I went to see how Trav was coming along getting Lola to sleep....

What a beautiful place we live in

We are lucky to live so close to these gorgeous mountains. Would you believe that this was the first time I've been to the oh so popular Silver Lake? I have to say, it lives up to all the hype. So, so pretty. The Adams accompanied us, so of course our kids were in heaven. That and the fact that Beck was surrounded in dirt :)

Party for a pretty awesome 3 yr old

I felt like a bad mom when the week before his birthday I had not one thing planned for his birthday. I wanted to send out cute invitations, have elaborate decorations, feed all of our family/friends, etc, etc. However, this just isn't realistic with how busy my life is right now. So I settled (a little reluctantly) for cake and ice cream at the splash park with a few friends and family. Aaand, it couldn't have been more perfect. Beck (and all the kids) had a ball and he couldn't have been more thrilled for his pink birthday cake (his only request). Lesson learned- simple can be better. Happy birthday to our favorite 3 year old!
